Our machines offer several important benefits to any seamless rolled ring production. SizTech shrinkers and expanders can be equipped with tools to improve efficiency and decrease cycle time.
Unique Benefits of the Shrinker
Some applications benefit more from a forging shrinker than a forging expander. Shrinker machines reduce the diameter of a ring by compressing the outer surface, and a forging shrinker is typically used when there are tight tolerances on the outer diameter of a ring.
Applications
Seamless rolled rings have multiple uses. Common applications for seamless rolled rings include bearings for wind turbines in the Energy Industry and engine components in the Aerospace Industry.
